Prof. Supriya Chakraborty, Ph.D. FNAAS, FNASc, FNA, is Professor and Dean, School of Life Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, INDIA. Prof. Chakraborty is an international expert in plant engineering and plant virus pathology. He has received many awards and recognitions for his work, among them, Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences India, Fellow of the Indian National Science Academy, Pran Vohra Award by Indian Science Congress, Dr. Harbhajan Singh Memorial Award by Indian Society of Vegetable Science, Lal Bahadur Shastri Young Scientist Award by Indian Council of Agricultural Research and the IARI Merit Medal.
